Mindfulness is a practiced skill that requires patience with yourself. This practice takes time and effort to begin to notice positive changes in your life. Often times you may begin practicing mindfulness one way then you notice it does not feel authentic to you so you practice another way. One way is not necessarily better than another if you don’t feel comfortable with your choice. Be gentle to yourself and show yourself compassion and humor when you slip, and we all slip, then start over again. Every slip is a lesson and be sure to pat yourself on the back for even noticing this slip is mindfulness! ❤️
