“Things Unnamed” 🖤
A name—I am called—
But I do not negate my place in the stars
by names,
I do not care what I
or others see.
—I am
a lonely fool,
the King's jester
chasing nonsense
not knowing when it is time to come in from the rain.
Wondering—to wonder
like the infant that cannot smile,
living in a world labeled
I must be,
the nameless fool.
