Self-care is more than pampering—it’s the sacred act of tending to your body, mind, emotions, and spirit with intention, compassion, and presence. It’s how you say to yourself: “I matter. I am worthy of care. I choose to honor my needs.”
Four Dimensions of Self-Care
1. Physical – Nurturing your body
• Resting when tired
• Eating nourishing foods
• Moving your body with love (stretching, dancing, walking)
• Hydration and deep breathing
2. Emotional – Holding space for your feelings
• Journaling your emotions without judgment
• Talking to a safe friend or therapist
• Letting yourself cry or feel anger safely
• Practicing self-forgiveness and grace
3. Mental – Clearing your mind
• Saying “no” to overstimulation
• Engaging in creative activities
• Reading something inspiring
• Challenging negative self-talk gently
4. Spiritual – Feeding your soul
• Meditation, prayer, or stillness
• Reiki or energy clearing
• Time in nature or silence
• Gratitude and intention-setting
Gentle Self-Care Mantra
“I choose to care for myself with love.
I honor what I need. I listen. I soften.
I deserve to feel nourished, safe, and whole.”
What Self-Care Is Not
• It’s not selfish—it’s essential
• It’s not always easy—it often requires boundaries
• It’s not a luxury—it’s your birthright
Beautiful—let’s create a simple, soulful self-care routine that nurtures your body, mind, emotions, and spirit, and supports your healing journey through Reiki, Shamanic work, and intentional living.
Your Personalized Self-Care Ritual (Daily or As Needed)
Morning (Set the Tone)
Time needed: 10–20 minutes
Purpose: Grounding, clarity, connection
1. Breathe + Bless (2–3 mins)
Sit in stillness. Hand on heart. Breathe in for 4, hold 4, out for 6.
Silently say:
“I welcome this day with love. I am safe, supported, and divinely guided.”
2. Gentle Movement (5–10 mins)
Stretch, sway, dance, or do light yoga—move energy through your body.
Let your breath lead the way.
3. Reiki Self-Treatment (optional)
Place your hands on your heart, solar plexus, and lower belly.
Call in healing:
“I receive the light of Reiki. May this energy clear, calm, and align me.”
Midday (Reset + Re-center)
Time needed: 5–10 minutes
Purpose: Emotional check-in, energy clearing
• Ask: “What do I need right now?”
• Quick journaling prompt: What am I feeling? What is this feeling asking of me?
• Lightly anoint your body (temples, heart, wrists) with oil or water as a blessing
• Burn sage, palo santo, or use sound (rattle, chime) to reset your space
Evening (Restore + Reflect)
Time needed: 15–30 minutes
Purpose: Release, integration, peace
1. Spiritual Cleanse
• Take a salt bath or foot soak
• Reiki your water or bath with the intention to clear all heavy energy
2. Shamanic Reflection or Journey (optional)
• Drum or listen to shamanic music
• Ask: What did I carry today that’s not mine? What wisdom wants to be heard?
3. Closing Prayer or Statement
“I release what is not mine. I receive peace.
I am held, I am whole, I am home.”
4. Gratitude Ritual
Write down 3 small things you’re grateful for—especially the simple gifts.
Let it remind you that joy lives in the little things.
Here are a few closing statements to seal your self-care practice with intention, gratitude, and sacred peace. You can speak them aloud, whisper them, or simply hold them in your heart:
1. Gentle Grounding
“I am grounded. I am present. I am whole.
All that I’ve released has returned to the light.
I thank myself for showing up with love today.”
2. Reiki-Aligned Closure
“This healing is complete for now.
May the energy continue to flow in perfect harmony.
I walk forward in balance, light, and grace.”
3. Shamanic Spirit Closing
“I honor the guides, the ancestors, and the elements.
I close this sacred space with gratitude.
What is meant for me will remain. What is not will return to the Earth.”
4. Heart-Centered Blessing
“I am enough. I am loved. I am safe.
I choose peace, presence, and joy—one breath at a time.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. It is done.”
